About Wania Konageski

Wania Konageski is an engineer, author, mentor, and global technology leader known for bringing clarity and humanity to complex systems.

With over 15 years of experience in digital transformation, her work spans highly technical environments and global cultural ecosystems. She began her career in telecommunications and today leads strategic initiatives within a multinational context, working across markets, cultures, and disciplines.

Wania is a co-author of ITIL® version 5, contributing to the evolution of one of the world’s most influential service management frameworks. Alongside her authorship, she acts as a mentor to professionals navigating complex technology landscapes and helps them develop clarity, confidence, and critical thinking in an AI-driven world.

Earlier in her journey, Wania served as an editor at Soompi, one of the world’s largest Korean entertainment platforms. Immersed in global digital culture, fandoms, and large-scale online communities, she developed a deep understanding of how people engage with content, technology, and meaning at scale. This experience continues to shape how she communicates about technology, not as something abstract, but as something lived, felt, and shared.

Today, she operates at the intersection of engineering, systems thinking, and human-centered communication. Her expertise spans observability, AIOps, DevOps, and modern product and service environments, always with a focus on how people make sense of complexity without losing empathy or responsibility.

Through writing, speaking, mentoring, and research, Wania explores how technology can scale without losing its human core. Her work is for leaders, teams, and communities who want to approach digital transformation with clarity, confidence, and meaning beyond hype.

Outside of her professional work, Wania practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a discipline that reinforces her approach to patience, adaptability, and continuous learning.
